The village hall is located near the centre of the village, adjacent to the school and the playing field. It is just a minutes walk from All Saints Church and the village shop.
There are various recycling facilities available - clothing, shoes, glass, tetrapak and newspapers/magazines.
A recently built childrens' playground keeps the younger residents happy (and fit !) with various pieces of equipment.
A pleasant copse is at the far end of the green.
There are litter bins provided with the hope that visitors to the green and play area use them rather than leave their rubbish lying around
The village hall was built in the 1950s and the playing field has been in use as a village facility since then.
The village playing field is often used for informal team games. The photo below shows some local residents playiing volleyball. Goal posts have now been installed on the field. Goal nets are available if required.
