VILLAGE HISTORY GROUP DATES
Thursday 11th April: AGM & slide show of the archives collected so far.
Thursday 9th May: Short films on American bomb groups in Suffolk & Norfolk
Thursday 6th June is the 80th Anniversary of D-Day so on Friday 7th June it is hoped to have a screening of The Great Escaper film which was released in 2023.
Saturday 8th June: Vintage Tea Dance

Hopton's Police Support Volunteer Our Police Support Volunteer is Su Delve who is also a member of the Parish Council. She is one of the first West Suffolk PSVs. Any incidents of flooding on trunk roads (A11, A12 south of Ipswich, A14) should be directed to Highways England. Their Information Line is 0300 123 5000 For incidents on any other roads in Suffolk, phone 0345 605 6171 Non urgent reports of minor flooding or blocked drains or gullies can be completed online at www.suffolk.gov.uk/flooding.
