Known locally as “Home from Home” the Day Care Centre was set up in 1991 and is run by a volunteer management committee.

Hopton & District Bowls Club
The Clubhouse is situated on Shortgrove Lane. The members meet most afternoons and evenings during the Summer and play short mat bowls weekly during the Winter.

Little Tots
Little Tots is an Ofsted inspected group for children aged 2 1/2 to 5.
Meetings are held four mornings and two afternoons per week in the Village Hall.

Hopton Art Group
We are a very friendly, mixed ability, group using mainly watercolour, but are open to other media.We occasionaly bring in professional artists to run a workshop for us and give us some quidance.

POTS, our local gardening club, meets in Market Weston Village Hall

Meetings are held at Hopton Bowls Club, and are open to all ages and abilities

£35 for each 6 week block although new students can join at anytime

A youth club for 8 - 12 year olds meeting at the High Street Chapel. Run by Tony Hood.

Hopton Bell Ringers

Hopton Bell Ringers are always looking for new bell ringers of any ability.

Ringing practice is on Mondays, and alternates between Hopton and Hinderclay.

Line Dancing
Hopton Hoppers Line Dancing is in the Village Hall
Wednesday evenings, 7.30-9.30 pm, and cost £4.00 per session, everyone welcome.

Troupe

A group of gifted amateurs who have provided Hopton with its very own pantomine for over 20 years.

Rehearsals are held as required for the next production. New talent is always welcome.

Ouse Valley Filling Station

The Filling Station is a new informal way of expressing the Christian faith. We find that the local church is strengthened and helped in many ways. The Filling Station is a group of Christians who are celebrating their faith in God in an informal and authentic fashion. Held at Garboldisham Village Hall,

7.00pm for 7.30pm on the second Friday of the month.
(No meetings in August and December.)
